Strong Mayor Initiative Tentatively Removed From Ballot

In a strong win for open, transparent politics, a Superior Court judge issued his preliminary ruling, declaring that the initiative process cannot be used to overhaul the city charter in such a radical fashion.

This is an important victory, but the fight is far from over. The decision will be appealed, as far as Tom Hiltachk's deep pockets will take it.
